During the sign up procedure you will be asked to enter a Nickname.
Your Nickname is the name that will be

Because your Nickname will be visible to other OpenMinders.com members, it will be checked prior to your profile

You
can change your personal adverts at any time via the menu option "My

your instruction manual of the device on how to record a video message
and how to transfer this onto your computer. You can change your video
message at any time through the "My Video" page.
Because
of the wide variety of video file formats OpenMinders.com might convert
and edit your video file into a more general accepted format.
Please find some restrictions and tips for uploading a video messages
below:
- Only personal messages spoken in English will be
accepted.
- Because video files will become very large please keep your
message short and to the point.
- A
video file may not exceed 5Mb. With a standard webcam recording of
240x320 pixels and 25 frames/sec this will give you about 1 to 2
minutes of video.
- Please note that uploading a video file
might take considerable time. This all depends on the file size, your
internet connection and the amount of traffic on the internet.
Same as with photos every video message will be screened before
being published.
Internal Email System:
Eventually
the goal of the site is to contact someone you like based on his or her
profile, photos, personal message and/or video message. Full Members
will be able to send personal messages via the internal email system to
other members.
In order to send personalized messages you
must first become a Full Member. A Full Membership is valid
for a
number of days and we have different periods.
Please note that we will
NOT
automatically extend your membership after a period has expired. All
information will be maintained and accessible after your membership has
expired.
All internal messages can be viewed and send from the "My Messages"
page.
You will be asked to use the internal mail system in a decent manner
and should never offend anyone you try to contact.
If for some reason you don't want to receive any more messages from a
certain member then you can block this member.
Finally:
We,
from OpenMinders.com, try to do everything possible to keep the site
accessible for a broad audience and therefore we will not tolerate any
behaviour that does not comply with our behaviour rules and conditions.
